![]() I had an absolute blast, and it's something I'd love to get into more seriously when I can afford a kart. How do you decide what kart to buy and are there sites that review/compare/contrast the various karts on offer? Do you race it in a series or just turn up at go-kart track open days to drive it around? All the best, Andrew.

I have only driven the car a few miles, but WOW!! This car is a beast! During the break in period I am not supposed to go over 4,200 RPM's, it is very hard!

That's the original livery. Patrick Racing ran Swifts for about half the season in 1999. Patrick Racing and Newman/Haas used Cosworth XD's in their Swifts. It is currently fitted with a Yamaha R1 engine as the Cosworth costs too much for me to maintain. Also I don't have a team to help start the car etc. It is a ton of fun and at ~300lbs less weight than the Cosworth the braking and handling are exceptional. Rob |
